When you’ve been handling the emotional and physical load of caring for an ageing parent, the idea of outsourcing help can feel overwhelming. You simply need practical support for…
Avivo is a not-for-profit community organisation providing personalised care and support across Western Australia that helps people live well, stay connected, and thrive.
For nearly 60 years, we’ve provided flexible, people-first solutions for those living with disability, mental ill-health, or age-related challenges. Our work is driven by purpose over profit and every decision we make is about people and helping them thrive.
We’re proud to be a registered NDIS provider with over 80 local teams across WA, giving families the freedom to live life their way with dignity, connection and control.

We provide individualised support and care services so people can live well in their own homes and communities.
Our Core Services include:
To empower individuals and strengthen communities.
A world where every person is connected, fully supported and able to thrive.
To provide practical, individualised support for people to live a good life in a community that values them.

Avivo’s story began in the 1960s with Gertrude “Gwin” Ruston, who founded the Perth Emergency Housekeeping Service. She saw a need in her community and created a service to help people stay supported at home with dignity and independence.
From those beginnings, we’ve grown into a state-wide organisation supporting thousands of Western Australians every day. What’s stayed the same is our commitment to people and place – locals supporting locals, with familiar faces who know and understand you.
