What is Veterans‘ Home Care? 

Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) is an entry-level support program funded by the Australian Government, designed to help veterans and their families stay independent at home. 

At Avivo, we proudly deliver VHC services across Western Australia, offering practical, everyday support tailored to your needs, from trusted professionals who understand the importance of dignity, respect, and reliability. 

Who is eligible for Veterans’ Home Care?

You may be eligible if you:

• Are a veteran or a dependent of a veteran
• Hold a Veteran Gold Card or Veteran White Card
• Have been assessed as needing support to remain independent at home

A VHC assessment agency will guide you through a simple process to determine what services you can access.

How it works

Need more than everyday help? 

If your support needs are more complex or have changed over time, there are other funding options available. We can help you understand what’s right for you. 

Support at Home	NDIS (for veterans under 65)
A more flexible, ongoing level of aged care support that covers a wider range of services, including nursing, dementia support and so much more.	The National Disability Insurance Scheme can support veterans with permanent and significant disability to live independently, work towards their goals and stay connected.
