For generations, society has celebrated the achievements of explorers, politicians and military leaders, people remembered for bold acts and public accomplishments. Their stories have filled our history books, and their likenesses stand in stone and bronze.
But there’s another kind of hero, one we rarely talk about.
The Support Project exists to shift the spotlight and honour those whose contributions are often overlooked: the support workers who walk alongside others, helping them live with dignity, independence and connection.

Larger-than-life public art installations have been commissioned across communities in Western Australia. Each one is inspired by the real stories of real people, those giving and receiving support. These artistic monuments:
