Navigating the mental health system can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re new to the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) or…
Feeling connected and included is an important part of mental wellbeing. At Avivo, we provide social and community support designed to help you stay connected, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful activities. Whether you want to explore new hobbies, join community events, or simply spend time with others, we’ll support you in a way that feels right for you.
Everyone’s idea of connection looks different, so we offer a range of flexible supports to suit your lifestyle and interests. You can choose the activities that matter most to you, and we’ll work alongside you to make them happen.
Join local groups, clubs, or social events that interest you.
Develop everyday skills like cooking, budgeting, or using public transport.
Enjoy activities such as going to the movies, cafés, or cultural events.
Take part in exercise, mindfulness, or relaxation programs.
Help to strengthen friendships and family connections.

There are three ways to access Avivo’s mental health recovery services:
The WA Mental Health Commission funds programs like Psychosocial Recovery support, Family and Carer Support and the Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) to help people with mental health challenges live well in the community.
If you have a NDIS plan, you may be eligible for Psychosocial Recovery support as part of your funded services.
Want to start right away or don’t have funding? You can choose to self-fund mental health support that’s flexible and tailored to your recovery goals.
Whether you’re just getting started, switching providers, or exploring funding, Avivo can guide you through your options so you can access the right mental health support.
“I want to thank you for your ongoing support, especially Jenny and Irma. Your help means so much for my mental health. The staff are amazing, always ready to talk on the phone and able to help in any situation. I fully trust and appreciate everything you do. Thank you.”
“The hardest step was admitting I needed help. Thanks to my wonderful Support Team, I’m feeling more comfortable getting out and about and not so grumpy these days, a miracle worked by the beautiful souls who assist me. Thanks heaps, Avivo.”
“Natalie from Avivo is always bubbly, thoughtful, and caring. She goes out of her way not only to support her client but to check in on others too. Her empathy and kindness truly make people’s days brighter. Thank you, Natalie, for all that you do!”
“I wanted to also extend my appreciation to all of you and what you do, day in day out, to not only care for the vulnerable people in our communities, but for giving families such peace of mind that their loved ones are in such good hands.”
“I have three sons here in Perth and one daughter in Melbourne, but my Support Workers are each like daughters to me. It gives my family peace of mind to know I’m in such good hands.”
