Support at Home (SaH) help older Australians live well at home, and they also give carers the chance to take a break, rest, and recharge. Caring for a loved one can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding.
If respite is included in your Support at Home plan, your carer can take time out with confidence, knowing your safe, supported, and cared for.
If respite for carers is part of your Support at Home, it gives the carer the chance to take a break and focus on things like:
All the while knowing their loved one is safe, supported, and in good hands.
If you have been assessed and approved for Support at Home and carer respite is included as part of your plan, then you’re eligible.
