Self-managing your own plan with Avivo

Want to have a bigger say in who supports you and how your Support at Home care is delivered? With self-managed funding through Avivo, you get the best of both worlds – the freedom to choose your Support Workers, with the reassurance of expert guidance behind the scenes. 

What is self-managed?

Self-managed (essentially still shared with Avivo) gives you greater control over your government-funded aged care support. You choose who provides your care, when it happens, and how it’s delivered all on your terms.  Avivo takes care of the administration, compliance and quality control so you can focus on living life your way, without the stress of managing paperwork or budgets alone.  

  

Support powered by partnership

Avivo works in partnership with Mable – a trusted online platform that connects individuals with independent Support Workers and external providers. This gives you even more choice and flexibility to build a team that meets your needs.  

We’ll help you get started, support your onboarding to Mable, and assist with processing invoices and claims related to your funded care.

We’re still by your side, just in a different way. With a self-managed plan, Avivo helps with:

• Setting up your budget
• Processing invoices and funding claims
• Navigating your Support at Home
• Providing advice if things change or you need more support
• Ensuring your care is delivered safely and within guidelines
• Have access to Avivo’s registered and safety-checked providers, including over 200 Allied Health Professionals. You can also choose to select your own providers through Mable.

Trusted providers at your fingertips 

With Avivo, you’ll have access to nearly 600 approved providers, including 200+ Allied Health professionals like physios, OTs and dietitians, even plumbers to mobility equipment providers. 

We’ll take care of coordinating the right support for you so you can feel confident, cared for and in good hands.

If you’d rather take a more hands-off approach, we also offer agency-managed options. 

What you’ll pay for self-managed plan

We charge a 10% fee from your total Support at Home to ensure you get peace of mind. 
This fee covers the cost of managing your account, processing invoices, ensuring compliance, and providing support when you need it.
