With experience across disability, aged care, health, law, finance, and social impact, including lived experience, they bring diverse perspectives and a balanced, commercially minded approach to ensure long-term sustainability.
Meet our Board Members
Tom Monks – Chairperson

Tom is the legal practitioner director of Tom & Co Legal and serves as Chair of Disability in the Arts Disadvantage in the Arts, Australia (DADAA), Deputy Chair of Technology for Ageing and Disability WA (TADWA), and holds positions on several other boards. In 2023, he was awarded Lawyer of the Year by The Law Society of Western Australia. With 46 years of lived disability experience and over 20 years as a non-executive director in various sectors, Tom is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, regularly representing NDIS participants at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
Stewart Hart – Deputy Chairperson

Stewart is a highly regarded financial and strategic leader in the resources industry, with a passion for developing high-performing cultures and leadership. He currently is the CFO at CBH Group and has held senior roles at BGC and Western Power and spent over two decades with BHP, including as CFO Iron Ore. Stewart brings commercial and cultural experience to Avivo, aiming to deliver great customer outcomes.
Michael Dworkin – Board Member

Mike is an experienced leader from the resources sector, now focused on empowering community service organisations to achieve long-term sustainability and growth while maintaining their core vision and values. He brings financial, commercial, and operational expertise to Avivo. Prior to joining the Avivo Board, Mike was Chairperson of the Board of Ovis Community Services, the primary provider of Family and Domestic Violence services to women and children in the Peel Region south of Perth.

Brad is a passionate technologist with global experience in IT management, digital strategy, and business process improvement across the mining, resources, and financial services sectors. He focuses on transforming IT departments into facilitators of technology outcomes that align with business needs.
Erin Marshall – Board Member

Erin is a former state public servant and a current Justice of the Peace. She is also a member of the Curtin University Human Library, promoting diversity and inclusion within the community. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Erin brings valuable lived experience and formal training to her role on the Avivo Board.
Grace Buchanan – Board Member

Grace has worked as a registered nurse, midwife, and health professional educator in palliative and end-of-life care for the past 30 years across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. She is passionate about enabling people to live their best lives and brings extensive experience from various sectors to her role.

Elizabeth is an accomplished technology leader and serves as the Regional Analytics Lead at Microsoft Asia. Her vision and leadership have been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives that empower businesses to harness the full potential of their data assets, with a particular emphasis on cutting-edge technologies including analytics and artificial intelligence.
Marie-Anne Keeffe – Board Member

Marie-Anne Keeffe (MAK) is an award-winning journalist and communications leader. Former Channel Seven producer and Telethon GM, she’s served on boards including Breast Cancer Care WA and the State Library, earning induction into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame. Now Director of Communications for WA Education, MAK specialises in strategic and crisis communications, brand and reputation management.
